It is our immense pleasure to inform you that issue no. 35 of our international scientific journal “Музикологија/Musicology” (II/2023) is now published!
The other great news with which we are concluding this year is that our Journal has received an improved category – M23 – from our Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation.

With this news, the Editor-in-Chief, Dr Danka Lajić Mihajlović, and the secretary of the Journal, Dr Bojana Radovanović, complete their two-year term. Continuing previous good practices, in these two years the Journal was equipped with a new website and also entered the Scopus and ERIH PLUS databases.

The Main theme for this issue is dedicated to music festivals. Together with the Varia section, this publication encompasses 8 original studies written by authors from Serbia, Poland, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Hungary, as well as four reviews in the Scientific Reviews and Polemics section. We are especially thankful to Dr. Izaly Zemtsovsky, who wrote a short piece in light of the celebration of the 95th birthday of our dear colleague, Dr. Nadežda Mosusova.
